A day visiting to a temple that equals a lot of a pious act is called "KUDOKU-BI (pilgrimage day)". KUDOKU-BI (pilgrimage day) is installed a day every month. Especially, the action to visit the goddess of mercy on July 10 equals pious act of 4600 days. Pious action of this day has been actively done from Edo period. The Chinese Lantern Plant Fair is held in these two days in Sensou-ji (Asakusa temple). |
